He called Zuma to come and see him.Īs Zuma arrived, Ryder add a pup-treat on a stick and put it on Zuma's hovercraft. Ryder finally came with an idea, if they could bring insects to Buddy, Buddy will open up his mouth to eat them and release Chickaletta. And if didn't eat insects soon, he'll become ill. The insects are on the other side of the swamp, the reason why Buddy shouldn't be planted on the side Ryder and Carlos were standing, and how he grew too big, is because to soil is too fertile. Buddy's a Buggum-Lovus, a type of plant that eats insects. Carlos looked into a book and discovered what kind of plant Bubby is. Mayor Goodway fell off of Buddy's leaf and landed on Chase's net. Ryder asked Tracker to use his cables to climb up Buddy and use his pliers to cut the vine to free Mayor Goodway. But, Mayor Goodway wasn't able to move because Buddy's vines had grown around her ankles. And, Marshall put up his ladder for Mayor Goodway to climb down.
